Objective:
The project involves creating a series of digital chalk illustrations using Photoshop for Collective Arts Brewing's new Artist Brand. The primary software tools for this task are Photoshop and chalk texture brushes. The target market for these illustrations is retail consumers, both male and female, aged 19 to 45. When designing, special consideration should be given to how the artwork will be displayed on the can, as only the top 1 1/2" of the label and 2 1/2" of the artwork will be visible when the product is on the shelf.
Solution:
The idea for this packaging was inspired by the surrealistic paintings of Salvador Dali, paired with my love for eyes, the heavenly bodies, and space exploration, and combining it with bright, funky, and energetic colours.
