Objective:
The Filipino-Canadian client would like me to design their logo, label, and box for their hot sauce/marinade. Their company name is Santelmo, which is inspired by a mythical creature/spectre in Filipino lore; it is a version of St. Elmo’s fire.
Solution:
Inspired by the myth of St. Elmo’s fire (Santelmo), I designed a logo that feels raw and mystical, a rough, hand-drawn flame with an all-seeing eye to reflect both heat and heritage. The label and box follow suit with bold, warm colours to capture the brand’s roots and reach.
